During my interview with Cheri Dost, she asked about the upcoming travel retreat to India that is happening in November 2018. If you haven’t heard that interview, you can listen to it here. I shared a lot of my life in India, my hopes and dreams about CulturallyOurs and why I started this platform.
It has always been a dream to take people to India, the country where I am from, to show them a side of her beyond the typical tourist lens. This November we are offering our maiden trip to Jaipur, the royal seat of India. We will explore all that India has to offer from a cultural standpoint as well as to engage with local women entrepreneurs and non-government organizations (NGOs) working with rural women and girls to learn first-hand about local business practices and social entrepreneurship.
